Your Choice of Services
If you would simply like us to safely and professionally move your household goods, that is fine. We will not only give you a competitive price, we will also provide you with free packing tips and where required, provide special cartons and packing materials.
Packing
If you would prefer, you can leave the packing to us. Whether you want us to pack your entire household or just certain selected items, we will arrive at your residence at the agreed time and get the job done quickly.
Our packers are the best in the business and provide a superior service that impresses our clients time and time again. Just ask for a quotation on your required packing.
Cleaning
When everything is packed and removed we can arrange for our professional cleaning company to detail your home (vacuuming, dusting, floor-washing, kitchen and bathroom detailing) ready for the new owners to move in. This can save you a lot of time and allow you to attend the many other pressing matters involved when relocating.
Storage
As one of Australia's largest removal companies, we have world class storage facilities and handling practices Australia-wide. We can care for your household goods from a few days to many years. Our longest held storage consignment was placed into our Melbourne storage facility in 1934 and delivered in perfect condition in 1993 - 59 years!
Special items such as pianos and pool tables are stored in our VIP Special Goods area to ensure maximum care. All goods entering or leaving our storage facilities are subjected to strict inventory checks.
Every item is labelled and recorded on an inventory listing when it enters the facility and checked out on exit. We use state-of-the art Homepack Containers specifically designed by Wridgways for safe, dry storage.
We can store items for short or long periods at very competitive rates and of course pick up and deliver to you at any time, anywhere.
Valet
Having helped thousands of Australians move home, we know the personal preparation that is required for a worry-free move. This is where the experience of our Wridgways Valet Service can help you.
We can attend and help you get organised before our removalists arrive to pack your home. Our award-winning Wridgways Valet staff will set to work again, once your goods arrive at your destination. They will unpack everything for you, setting up your kitchen, organising your bedrooms and transforming a carton-filled house into a comfortable new home. Insurance
Why do I need insurance cover?
For peace of mind and protection against any accident causing loss or damage to your household goods and personal effects.
We recommend that you arrange an insurance cover on your possessions whilst in transit and also during any period of storage. Wridgways offers a range of insurance cover options at very competitive rates.
How do I select the sum to be insured?
Wridgways will provide you with a detailed contents listing which will assist you to quickly value your household goods and personal effects. For complete protection it is essential that all your household goods and personal effects are insured for their full replacement value. If your goods are under-valued any claims will be treated on the basis of average, which means that any payment is adjusted in the same proportions as the declared value bears to the replacement value of the goods.
