Wridgways congratulates our Santa Fe Group CEO, Lars Lykke Iversen, who celebrates 40 years with the Santa Fe Group this week! Wridgways is proudly part of the Santa Fe Group, a world-renowned relocation organisation with a reputation for unsurpassed customer service standards.
Lars began his career with the Santa Fe Group’s parent company, in 1972 in Copenhagen. Since then, he has managed to build one of the world’s best global relocation companies.
Lars recently relocated from Hong Kong with his wife, Wendy, to London to begin a new chapter in his career at the Santa Fe Group Headquarters.
Early on in his career, Lars showed great leadership skills and was destined to go a long way. He is a now a business leader in one of the most influential relocation companies in the world and an expert in his own right on ‘everything relocation’.
Lars is an approachable person who appreciates what his employees do for the business and always makes time to catch up with his employees and see how they are.

Lars’ journey with the Santa Fe Group…
After four years training with EAC (East Asiatic Company) in accounting and finance and two years with Johnson Walton Steamships, Lars was appointed as Vice President of Finance for EAC moving a relocation services.
In 1986, Lars relocated to Hong Kong where he successfully managed the flotation of EAC in Hong Kong, the acquisition of Santa Fe Transport in 1988 by EAC and the successful merger of Santa Fe & Global Silver Hawk in 2001. In 2010 and 2011, Lars subsequently closed major deals, partnering with Wridgways and Interdean in the UK, providing customers with an end to end solution across the globe.
As the CEO of the Santa Fe Group, Lars has developed the company into a leading Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific Relocation Company, with offices in Europe, UAE, Australia, USA, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Macau, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
During this period Lars has continued obtaining professional training, through Instead and has attended many leadership and advancement courses including the most recent for profitable growth held at IMD in Lausanne Switzerland.
Lars is a long-standing member of the Board of Directors for ERC and has been awarded the Meritorious Service Award. He has also served on other boards including President, Overseas Movers Network International Limited (OMNI), Past Chairman of The Danish Business Association of Hong Kong, Board member of Far East Movers Association and is a member of the APAC Program Task Force.
