COVID-19 and WridgWays
24 March 2020
Our focus is on the health and well-being of our employees and the wider community. We continue to take direction and monitor government updates around COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
At this time, freight and logistics services are considered an essential service, we continue to operate in all areas. We are taking the safety of our employees, contractors and customers as our priority. As a result, we have implemented a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) relevant to the COVID-19 virus threat. We are enforcing additional measures to protect the safety of our employees, contractors and customers. These include leveraging video technology solutions to enable in-home consultations to minimise contact wherever possible.
Currently, the movement of goods and freight domestically is not affected, we continue to monitor the situation and will advise individuals directly if this changes and impacts your relocation.
All customers must notify your WridgWays key contact if the following applies to you:
- If you are displaying cold or flu symptoms
- If you have been overseas in the past 21 days
- If you have been advised to self-isolate
- If you have been in direct contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 virus
If any of these points are applicable, we will assess the risk to all parties and reschedule your move to ensure the safety of our employees and the community.
We continue to monitor the situation and remain committed to the health and safety of our customers and team members. We are confident that we can get through this together.
If you do require further information or have any questions about your move, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
