Great Place to Work
In recent months, you all will have heard a lot about our efforts to make Santa Fe Australia a Great Place to Work, beginning with a survey back in October and initial results being discussed in our Chats with the CEO, as well as promises of more to come.
In the past few weeks, we have been visiting branches across Australia to discuss these results further with you, and to talk more about the commitment from Management to make sure that the areas we have been falling short in, are addressed as effectively as possible. While we have not yet made it to all of our regional branches just yet, we assure you that you have not been forgotten and your visits will be happening very soon!
We have exciting new plans for how to go about making Santa Fe a Great Place to Work, and this involves our staff from across the country getting involved to help in this process. Our GPTW Roadshow has seen us discussing these plans with you, specifically in reference to our search for Great Place to Work Ambassadors to proactively represent their colleagues, teams and offices. If you are interested in this kind of a role then please put your hand up, as we would love for you to share your skills and insights with the wider Australian team. In the future there will be the opportunity to collaborate globally as well, which is one of the perks of being a part of a company like Santa Fe.
Our plan will see the formation of a Great Place to Work Leaders Team who will be empowered to make changes throughout our company, to help us all to feel great about coming to work every day. There will be phases to this plan, as we recognise that nothing happens overnight, but we want you to know that we are committed to change, and are looking forward to seeing the great ideas that will be brought to the table as this initiative gains momentum.
We thank you for your continued support, and for your enthusiasm in helping us to bring about these changes.
Please watch this space for more news about our progress, and we encourage you to contact Jane Pingo if you would like to be involved.
