Your dedicated vehicle transport service
We use a dedicated vehicle transport provider to ensure your motorbike or any vehicle is moved safely and in the most efficient manner. We make sure that your vehicle arrives in the same condition it left in.
When you ship a motorbike from Australia to New Zealand you will be looking at a cost of approximately between $1500-$1750.
The cost depends on a number of factors such as:
- international shipping premiums
- motorbike size and weight
- transport type
- permit fees
Depending on the type of service you choose and any extra services, for example, if you choose a VIP service, the cost may be slightly higher.
When you ship a bike from Australia to New Zealand with WridgWays, our service offering includes:
- Transport contract and condition reports so your bike arrives in the same condition as it was from the start
- Specialised transport equipment to transport your bike
- A transport system uniquely designed to safely carry your bike and protect it throughout the journey
- Option to opt for our VIP luxury transport service, if your motorbike needs special care and attention
You will need to consider the best option for transportation. It should be noted that we do not carry motorbikes on transport trailers. If you require transport of a trailer, any motorbike will be unloaded prior to transport and each motorbike will be processed as an individual vehicle. We often use crates to keep your vehicle safe and secure during the move, the crates are made of a lightweight material to help keep costs down.
Before you move
Prior to moving your motorbike, you will need to prepare it to be transported. You will need to ensure it has been thoroughly cleaned and you will need to check the condition prior to moving - if there is any damage, including chips note this on the condition report.
You will also need to:
- remove the battery
- drain any petrol
- disarm alarms
- remove any personal items
Your WridgWays consultant will discuss with you the process and can provide a comprehensive quote.
