Reasons to move to Monaco

Despite being small in population and only the size of New York’s Central Park, Monaco has some impressive architecture. Some notable architecture include the Grand Casino de Monte Carlo, the famous entertainment and gambling complex; the Hermitage Hotel, which has a masterfully designed interior and Hexa Grace, a tiled multi-coloured roof that overlooks the ocean.

No tax

Monaco introduced the tradition of no income tax in 1869 after the success of the Grand Casino de Monte Carlo. Because it was so profitable, the government decided to stop taxing its residents, which is why today many of the world’s elite use Monaco as a haven for their international wealth.

Low crime rate

There is one policeman for every hundred people in Monaco, and a 24 hour video surveillance for the entire state, and the majority of residents are extremely wealthy, so the rate of crime is very low in Monaco. The police presence is armed, served by both men and women and is the largest per-area and per-capita basis. You can feel quite safe walking the streets with the knowledge that Monaco is abundantly secure.

Luxury environment

The high quality of living in Monaco has meant many wealthy residents have flocked to live in the principality and have very high average net worths. There is no poverty in Monaco, with one third of the population being comprised of millionaires. Everything as a result is on the higher-end scale of things, from healthcare, to facilities, to food.
