Since our founding in 1892, WridgWays has been moving household belongings with professionalism and ingenuity. We don't just pick up and deliver your things, we also provide a range of moving services, and ensure that we do our job with class. We've helped Aussies from all over the country move interstate — no matter which state or territory you're in, there's a WridgWays office waiting to help.
During uplift and delivery, either you or a representative over the age of 18 will need to be at the property. That way, nothing will be forgotten, and somebody will be there to offer important input e.g. where boxes should go in your new home.
Our average interstate moves take, on average, 4-10 days. However, since Melbourne and Canberra are geographically close (at least, by Australian standards!) you can expect a relatively quick move.
You certainly can. During the move, we will assign a move manager to you, so that you'll always have a specific person to talk to about the job. Additionally, if you'd like help from our Canberra office, you can contact them here.
There are so many things you need to take into consideration. From organising utilities, arranging pet transport and even changing your address for what seems like an endless list of services and authorities!
Any move can be overwhelming, but working out how to move to rural Australia can be even harder.
