Since our founding in 1892, WridgWays has been moving household belongings with professionalism and ingenuity. We don't just pick up and deliver your things, we also provide a range of moving services, and ensure that we do our job with class. We've helped Aussies from all over the country move interstate — no matter which state or territory you're in, there's a WridgWays office waiting to help.
The home owner/resident does not have to be personally present for the move, but we do require that a representative is there at the uplift and delivery. They will act as a witness to the move, and be there to see that everything has been loaded/unloaded. They must be over 18 years old.
For interstate moves, it usually takes 4-10 days to move household belongings. Melbourne and Darwin are quite far away geographically (in excess of 3,000km — further than London to Moscow), but we will still make sure that your move order is completed in a timely and efficient fashion.
We certainly can. We offer affordable and secure solutions for long and short-term storage.
There are so many things you need to take into consideration. From organising utilities, arranging pet transport and even changing your address for what seems like an endless list of services and authorities!
Any move can be overwhelming, but working out how to move to rural Australia can be even harder.
