The public transport options in Bundoora are excellent, with trams, train lines, and bus services that travel throughout the suburb and surrounding areas. The Western Ring Road Trail and Darebin Creek Trail provide cyclists the option for commuting and travelling for leisure. On the weekend, there is a Nightrider bus service that runs through the suburb into the late hours of the night.


Bundoora has plenty of good schools in the suburb including Parade College, Loyola College and Bundoora Secondary College. There are also two university campuses: La Trobe University’s flagship campus, and RMIT’s West Campus. Both universities attract a large student population, and the variety of educational facilities makes Bundoora an ideal place to have children.
