Glenroy is a suburb of Melbourne. It is about 13 kilometres north of the Melbourne CBD, taking you less than 30 minutes drive. It is bounded by the Western Ring Road in the north and the Moonee Ponds Creek in the west, and the surrounding suburbs include Hadfield, Broadmeadows, and Gowanbrae.
The Glenroy station is the main railway station on the Craigieburn line, which is about 30 minutes to the city. Because it’s on the main line, you don’t have to transfer. There are many buses operated in the suburb, too. Besides public transport, It’s easy to drive to 2 freeways. The best thing for the drivers, it’s rare traffic jams even in the peak hours, except the case that you have to cross the train line.
