Rockingham is a suburb of Perth and is situated 45 kilometres south-west of the Perth CBD. It is a beachside suburb at Mangles Bay, along the Indian Ocean. Recently, it has become a naval centre with the Royal Australian Navy’s main west-coast base nearby. Neighbouring suburbs include Cooloongup, Peron and Hillman, and it’s near the Garden Island, too.
