Toowoomba is a city in the Darling Downs region in Queensland. It is the 2nd most populous inland city in Australia. Toowoomba has a nickname called “The Garden City,” and it is referred to as the capital of the Darling Downs. Located in the west of Brisbane, it takes you around 90 minutes drive between these two cities.
Sports and Outdoors
There are some popular sports like Rugby league, footy and cycling played in Toowoomba. In addition, Toowoomba features a semi-professional football club, South West Queensland Thunder, having a huge following within the community. Festivals and Events
The annual Carnival of Flowers is held in September in Toowoomba.
