As part of our Great Place to Work Action Plan, we include Staff Profiles in each edition with the intention of featuring both new and old employees, from across all of our branches, and we hope this helps you to put a face to some of the names you are dealing with on a regular basis. This month we feature two familiar faces in new roles, as well as two new starters, and we hope that when you encounter these fantastic new members of our teams you will make them feel very welcome!
Hi, I’m Lou, I think some of you may know me by now, as I did a brief stint in Melbourne last year as part of the Santa Fe exchange programme and came over from London for 8 weeks.
I enjoyed my time in Oz so much, that I wanted to come back on a more permanent basis, so here I am… bags, boyfriend and container in tow!
I first started working at Santa Fe (known then as Interdean) in 2012 in Dublin for a few months, I then moved home to UK and was based at Santa Fe London for just over 3 years, I feel I have come a long way and learnt a lot since being a part of the Santa Fe family and I look forward to learning more during my time in Australia. I would say I am a fun enthusiastic person who likes to enjoy life as much as I can, I love spending time with family and friends, socialising and holidaying but who doesn’t 😉 I look forward to getting to know you and working with you all and if you have any recommendations for me (places to visit etc.) as I am new Down Under, please get in contact.
John Chapman & Raquel Biskup
John has taken on a temp role with Move Dynamics for our busy period and will mainly be helping Cam with her Federal accounts and graduate programs. John has only been in Sydney for just over two weeks and has moved from Ipswich, QLD with his partner to live with her family. Although it is a big change he is so far loving the NSW state and is looking forward to further exploring. John is a self-proclaimed geek, some of his hobbies include building computers, painting, making knives, etc. He LOVES hobbies and is always looking for something new to try out.
Raquel has also taken on a temp role to assist Move Dynamics through our busy period and will be assisting Maddison with the NT Education contract. She previously worked at Masters Installations as an IHUB Team Leader which with Masters going down thought it was best to get out of there before it unfortunately closed. She loves traveling and going to the movies with her partner and currently has two kids going through exams so is also going home to help with numerous hours of studying after work. She has an obsession with owls and infinity signs which she has been now banned by her family that no more are allowed to be bought or given to her.
